Lord Beerus the Destroyer. One of the most powerful deities.

It is very literally Beerus' job to destroy. The easily irritable god of destruction destroys planets as if he was doing nothing more taxing than finishing a book report. If Goku hadn't impressed this antagonist with his strength of will, Earth would have been decimated before any of the other Z Fighters could even register that they were being attacked. Humanity should be celebrating the fact that Beerus enjoys Earth's food culture enough to let the planet continue to exist.
